Definition and forms of democracy

In the political system of the state, the concept of democracy is characterized by a number of features:
- The source of power is the people ;
- Free elections as a way of forming the institutions of power;
- Equality of citizens;
- Guarantee of rights and freedoms
In the twentieth century, the word "democracy" has been the most widely used word by politicians around the world. The term "democracy" is used for the purposes of all influential parties.
Democracy plays an important role in the main political development of mankind. Democracy comes in the following forms:
1. Direct democracy. It has existed since ancient times and involves the adoption of state decisions by all citizens.
2. Plebiscite democracy. It envisages the adoption of laws through a party elected according to the will of the people.
3. Pluralistic democracy (representative). Citizens elect a representative to carry out state affairs.
4. Sensitive democracy, that is, a group chooses to represent it (be it the elite and the class).
Freedom of speech, the press, and the creation of public organizations are protected in democracy.
Representative democracy plays a key role in modern democracy. Voters determine the purpose, and the elect determines the means and means of achieving these goals as soon as possible.
The independence of the judiciary is the most important condition of a democratic regime.
